2022 Driver of the Year Announced

At CTS, recognizing employees who do the right thing so they know their positive impact on the organization is our mission – literally. We deliver on that promise in several ways, perhaps our most favorite one being the Annual Dennis Borowski Driver of the Year Award.

Well, for the past five years, CTS has been delivering in a BIG way. Each driver is held up to an intricate set of criteria spelled out in the company Driver Manual, which then determines their eligibility for the award at the end of the year.

For the year 2022, this prestigious award was earned by Bryor Pultz, out of Escanaba, MI. It’s no surprise, when asked to speak about Bryor, his supervisors were not at a loss for words.

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Bryor for several years now and it’s easy to see why he was chosen as DOY. He exemplifies professionalism, and has a willingness to work with Operations in tight spots while going above and beyond when asked to, always with a positive attitude. These characteristics provide CTS with the opportunity to excel and surpass customer expectations. And at the end of the day, I know when I pick up the phone, I count on Bryor to get the job done.”

                                                            -Paul Kibler, Driver Manager

“Bryor always has a smile on his face and positive attitude. He's very often willing to help out and go the extra mile. I’ve received feedback from more than one customer/vendor about his great attitude and professionalism. I feel he’s a great asset to the CTS team, and he is exactly the type of driver that ‘Driver of the Year’ was established for, as the qualities that Bryor shows each and every day are very much like the award’s namesake, Dennis Borowski.”

                                             -Crystal Coenen, Operations Manager

More frequent awards are also given out: Drivers are honored on a quarterly basis in three categories; Local Driver of the Quarter, Road Board Driver of the Quarter, and Trainer of the Quarter. Cash rewards are earned at $250, $500, and $750 respectively. To be dubbed as Driver of the Year, one does not have to take home any of the quarterly awards, but certainly can if it works out that way.

The hard working Driver of the Year recipient receives bragging rights, the title ‘Driver Of The Year’, a crystal truck award, an extra week of paid vacation, and a check in the amount of $10,000.
