Office Manager

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Process Customer Invoices, index driver paperwork received and process customer invoices within 24 hours of receipt of driver paperwork
  • Invoice Monthly Trailer Rentals, Hourly Invoices for P&G, Millwood & RR Donnelly
  • Ensure Proper documentation on file for all accessorial charges
  • Manage unbilled orders daily.  Review EBE for potential scanning and/or indexing errors, provide feedback to driver managers regarding missing paperwork and/or scanning issues, and contact consignees for missing paperwork greater than 10 days
  • Work with CSR’s on any questions that arise during billing.  Note any questions/comments in remarks field in billing
  • Enter Daily Cash Receipts
  • Contact customers on outstanding invoices greater than 10 days past due
  • Place orders for employee CTS clothing, office & break room supplies, and ensure Driver Room, Conference Room and Training room are adequately stocked
  • Greet visitors and escort to conference room as needed
  • POD Requests from customers
  • Pick up mail from Post Office

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of High school diploma or GED/HSED. 
  • 2 years of experience in billing, preferably in the transportation industry

SCHEDULE

  • Monday-Friday
  • 8am-4:30pm with a 1/2 hour meal period

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The Employee may be required to lift or exert force up to 40 pounds on occasion.
