CTS NAMED ONE OF THE COUNTRY’S BEST-LOOKING FLEETS

CTS was recently recognized as one of the nation’s best-looking fleets for its design of trucks honoring branches of the military, police, firefighters, emergency medical technicians and farmers.

The recognition was given by Commercial Carrier Journal for excellence in fleet graphics design and execution. CTS ranked No. 3 out of 37 total entries. According to the 11-person judging panel, the top five fleets successfully relate the company’s purpose, tell a story, champion a cause and promote a strong corporate brand image. The designs were created in partnership with local marketing agency Brand Outcomes.

“Trucking and patriotism have long been intertwined, with the industry employing a much higher percentage of military veterans than the general workforce,” said James Jaillet, executive editor of industry publications CCJ and Overdrive. “CTS’s graphics drive that point home, with their eye-grabbing graphics paying ode not only to branches of the U.S. Military like the Army, Navy and Air Force, but also to first responders like firefighters, police and EMS. It’s not just support of military and first responders that caught my attention, though — the graphics are stunning in their own right.”

These wrapped CTS semi cabs and trailers are not just visually appealing. For each loaded mile a wrapped CTS truck travels, CTS donates two cents to local charities representing the groups depicted on the cabs and trailers.

“We proudly show our commitment and support to the thousands of men and women who serve this great country by utilizing trucks wraps within our fleet,” Reitz said. “It’s one visible way we can show these great people how much we appreciate what they do.”

CTS operates under the mission of recognizing people who do the right things, and that often means bonuses, family picnics and parties, movie nights, tailgate events, and other activities to honor the drivers and other employees who help the company succeed. In addition to being an employer of choice in the local trucking industry, CTS puts on an annual holiday bike drive benefiting local children, and it has been active in donating goods and services to support hurricane relief efforts in the United States.
